How Artificial Intelligence optimizes Truck Route Planning
Artificial intelligence is the key to automating scheduling. Through the use of intelligent algorithms, tour plans can be created automatically and further optimized during the course of the tour. Our transport management system OPHEO already uses methods of artificial intelligence (AI) – the so-called optimizers – for Route optimization. The optimization parameters can be adapted to the individual customer’s framework conditions. For example, the optimizers take into account the required vehicle characteristics and capacities, driver qualifications, loading and opening times, as well as driving and rest times. In this webinar you will learn how efficiency-enhancing mathematical optimization algorithms are in truck route optimization.
