Our origins and our future
On 5 August 2025, Opheo Solutions GmbH and Städtler Logistik GmbH merged to form Solvares Logistics GmbH. The group thus combines two leading providers of digital transport logistics and freight cost optimisation into one powerful entity.
Solvares Logistics GmbH is a member of the Solvares Group.
A history of development
Dr Stefan Anschütz and André Paul Henkel founded initions AG in 2001 as a spin-off of the Institute for Business Informatics at the University of Hamburg. The was to make mathematical optimization and artificial intelligence commercially viable. In 2021, the OPHEO division was spun off as an independent company, Opheo Solutions GmbH, and joined the Solvares Group.
We have been developing our standard software OPHEO for more than 20 years and have successfully established it on the market. OPHEO combines innovative and pioneering technologies into one product – a software platform for Tour Planning, Tour Optimization, Predictive Planning and Telematics.

Mission
Our mission is the digitalization of transport management in road freight transport. Through extensive automation of dispatching, we want to redefine the job of the dispatcher and ensure framework conditions that make this job attractive for young employees as well.
A history of excellence
In 2024, we won the Telematik Award for the third time. The independent expert jury of the Telematik-Markt.de media group chose Opheo Solutions as the winner in the “Route Planning” category.
We were particularly successful with our Predictive Planning. The technology allows dispatchers to identify potential disruptions and bottlenecks hours in advance.
We have been continuously listed as a TOP PROVIDER in the “TOPLIST of Telematics” for our OPHEO solution since 2013. Every year, a renowned jury of experts reviews companies from German-speaking countries (D-A-CH) in terms of technology, service and support.
The ranking is also influenced by users who put the solutions through their paces (technology and user benefits) in independent practical tests.
In the LOGISTRA best practice: Innovations 2022 readers’ poll, we took first place in the telematics and navigation category with OPHEO 7, the latest version of our dispatching and transport management software.
Every two years, the trade magazine from HUSS-VERLAG asks its readers about the most exciting innovations and at the same time future-proof solutions in transport and intralogistics.
In 2020, we were awarded the renowned Telematik Award for the second time, by the media group Telematik-Markt.de. With our combined AI and telematics solution consisting of OPHEO roadEngine + OPHEO MOBILE we have
convinced the jury. The synergy of both solutions enables our customers to automate their dispatching – up to a completely autonomous control by OPHEO.
We have been recognized for our family-friendly HR policy by the “Hamburg Alliance for Families”, an initiative of the Hamburg Senate, and the Chamber of Commerce and the Chamber of Crafts.
The Hamburg Family Seal confirms Opheo Solutions as an employer particularly committed to the compatibility of family and career.
In 2014, we won the Telematics Award in the main category “Fleet Telematics” for our OPHEO solution. OPHEO was awarded for its innovative forecasting function. The Telematik Award recognizes outstanding development achievements and solutions in the field of telematics.
By honouring these TOP providers, the organizer, the media group Telematik-Markt.de, is pursuing the goal of making the telematics industry more transparent, better known and easier to understand for users, as well as presenting future trends using examples of best practice.
